In order to safeguard the public networks, data centers, and critical infrastructure of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and various entities such as the government, telecommunications and internet service providers, academia, and non-financial/banking sectors , JO-CERT aim to protect them from cyber attacks and unauthorized activities. Their objectives include reducing the impact of cyber threats, minimizing information loss resulting from attacks, mitigating operational and economic disruptions caused by attacks, minimizing the risk of reputational damage caused by an attack, and coordinating a national response to cybersecurity incidents targeting critical infrastructure
